A leading charity has received over £1m after a Devon estate was successfully sold at auction, for £200,000 above the guide price.
Cancer Research UK was the sole beneficiary of the 105 acre Temple Farm estate at Blackdown, between Beaminster and Lyme Regis, which went under the hammer last week for £1,117,000, against a guide price of £925,000.
