‘Meagre growth’ of the UHNW population, but wealth expected to grow by 9% a year

The richest 0.004% of the world's population controls 12% of total global wealth

There are now 212,615 ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals globally, holding a combined wealth of US$30tr in net assets, according to the latest World Ultra Wealth Report by research house Wealth-X. That’s roughly the same as last year, but predictions are in place that indicate that the pace of growth is about to pick up.
