New figures have shown 220 estate agency branches opened up in London over the last 12 months, with Westminster leading the charge.
After this 8.3% boost, the total number in the capital now stands at 2,881, according to Rightmove, with all but one borough (Enfield) seeing an increase in outlets last year.
Westminster saw its tally increase by 27% to hit 228, ahead of rises in Islington (26%) and Hammersmith & Fulham (16%). There’s now 160 agency offices in Wandsworth and 137 in RBKC.
