**UPDATE: Camden Council have given the new designs the go ahead. The £350m plans were approved at yesterday’s (4th July) planning meeting.**[from 27th June] Almacantar and Frogmore’s new-look big plans to turn Richard Seifert’s Centre Point into resi have been recommended for approval by planners ahead of next week’s Camden council committee meeting.
The first round of designs was rejected last September, with the council not buying into the joint venture’s traffic plans or affordable housing contribution. Revised plans seem to patch up all the questionable bits; the developers even bought an extra site down the road for more affordable units.
