Google has just made it much easier for homeowners to “disguise” their properties on Street View maps.
Following April’s landmark “right to be forgotten” EU ruling, the search engine has been giving users a bit more control over what can and can’t be accessed from the comfort of someone’s sofa.
Various luminaries and celebs appear to have already taken up the offer – Tony Blair’s London townhouse is no longer visible for example – and Google has promised “easily accessible tools” to allow other owners to do the same.
