Brent’s planners have given Regal Homes the go-ahead to build a 74-unit residential development in Queens Park, NW6.
3-7 The Avenue – with a working name of The Avenue – will deliver 33 one-bed apartments, 23 two-beds, and 18 three-bedroom apartments, six of which will be allocated to Shared Ownership. 57 parking spaces in the basement will be reserved for residents-only use.
Designed by Hopkins, the scheme will occupy a 0.80 hectare site within walking distance of Brondesbury Park and Brondesbury rail stations and Queen’s Park underground station.
Works are due to kick-off on-site in Q3 2016, around the same time as a marketing launch, and first completions at The Avenue are scheduled for sometime in 2018.
Paul Eden, Joint CEO, Regal Homes: “The Avenue is a very welcome addition to our property portfolio and we look forward to delivering yet another high quality scheme for London.
“As an expert London developer, The Avenue will benefit from our expert knowledge of developing prime sites in the capital.
Simon De Friend, Joint CEO: “Equipped with the necessary infrastructure to support a thriving community, Queens Park is set to attract further investment in the coming years, stimulating a buoyant local economy and benefiting the existing community.”
